Zhe Fu

Zhe is a Stanford Energy Postdoctoral Fellow hosted by Professor Darve and Professor Pavone. She received her Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering from UC Berkeley.

Her Ph.D. research focused on physics-informed learning and control for mixed-autonomy systems, particularly on how a small number of automated vehicles can be used to smooth traffic flow and improve system-level energy efficiency. Her work spans the full pipeline, from traffic modeling and physics-informed machine learning, to control and optimization, and finally to small-scale and large-scale real-world vehicle experiments.
